Following news of their addition to this year’s Download Festival line-up, US hardcore punkers Trash Talk have announced some additional live dates in June. The band will also be releasing a split 7” with fellow Californians Wavves tomorrow (16th April) in support of Record Store Day. The record will include new track ‘Thorns’.

Westlife’s Nicky Byrne has claimed that Simon Cowell became too busy to manage the boyband properly in recent years. The singer asserted that Cowell was brilliant during the initial stages of their career, but went on to claim that projects such as the hugely successful ‘X Factor’ left him with little time for the Irish four-piece.
